"In your life, you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do."

"Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become."

5 favorite kids’ books:
2. The Magician’s Nephew by C. S. Lewis
The first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series about the creation Narnia. I felt like this was the most visually appealing and promising of the books in the series I read, and I always resented the fact that it was just kind of ignored.

1. The Inferno by Dante
Like Fodor’s for the pit.
2. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
A little insider trading.
3. No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre
Hell’s equivalent of a Tony Robbins book.
4. The Third Policeman by Flann O’Brien
In case Sartre’s vision is just not terrifyingly absurd…
